What is Siberia like in winter? Snow is falling in fluffy flakes. And under your feet there is such a layer that you can dig deep into it with your head. Winter is the time to try Siberian freeride. Let's go to the mine. This village, located in the mountains of the Kuznetsk Alatau, is a real mecca for fans of freeriding. Snowboarders and skiers from all over Siberia come here in search of pristine slopes. After high-quality freeriding, I want to relax a bit and see Siberia.
Our first stop is Boyarskaya Pisanitsa. This is about 170 cave paintings made by ancient people over 22 centuries ago.

Not far from here you can stroll along the “Siberian Stonehenge”. That is what the Great Salbyk Kurgan is called. Consisting of many giant stones, it is considered an ancient temple and an astronomical observatory.

Then you will be transported back to the 19th century and go through the ancient streets of a Siberian village. We will find ourselves in the Shushenskoye open-air museum. Here you can find out how the prosperous Siberian peasant lived, what the village prison looked like at that time and what they sold in the shop.

We conclude our acquaintance with Siberia in an amazing place, the village of artisans and craftsmen “Petropavlovka”.
Here you can see how old Russian musical instruments are made, how blacksmiths and pottery masters work. Nearby is a unique eco-settlement of people living completely autonomously. You will be surprised to see their house-tower.

And at the end of the tour you will be able to participate in traditional Siberian master classes in blacksmithing and pottery, listen to how the harp and the pipe sound.
You will taste real Russian cheesecakes and ride with a breeze on a sleigh drawn by a Russian three, you can try ice fishing and relax in a traditional Russian bath.
